A Building Reborn

Where History Meets Opportunity

For decades, the old Adrian’s Market was more than just a grocery store—it was a gathering place. Families shopped here, neighbors caught up in the aisles, and the building stood as a cornerstone of daily life in Hopwood. When the store closed its doors, several well-intentioned attempts were made to bring it back in the same way. But times had changed, and what the community needed had changed too. The building was waiting, not for another grocery, but for a new vision.

That’s where we stepped in.

In 2025, AMJ Real Estate acquired the property with a fresh perspective: instead of trying to recreate what once was, we asked, “What could this space become?” The answer was clear. It needed a modern, flexible hub where local businesses, entrepreneurs, and organizations could thrive which is how the Village Plaza in Hopwood was created.

We Didn't Just Renovate the Building—We Redefined Its Purpose for the Next Generation.

Throughout this transformation, we wanted to honor the building’s legacy as a place of connection while reimagining it for the future. Today, the same walls that once held shelves of groceries now hold opportunities: for small businesses, community growth, and a stronger local economy.
